When it comes to fitness and its related myths and facts, there is just too much information out. Let’s bust a few fitness and nutrition myths that are absolutely irrelevant.
• Detox – Most people think that detoxifying is best achieved with a juice cleanse. A Juice diet does not makes any difference to the body, except for shooting blood sugar and making you hungry.
• Soda – Sodas are linked to weight gain, even diet sodas. This isn’t necessarily true. If a person drinks this diet beverage in moderation, it can help them feel full.
• Negative Calories – Many foods are thought to be having zero calories for example celery. The fact is that every food has calories to offer and some are just low calorie foods.
• Muscles – Most people forget the difference between muscles and fat. The muscles and fat tissues are entirely different and fat gets burnt when you exercise, whereas muscles get stronger.
